There are 2 types of limits at Carousel: personal limits and the default limit.
Personal limits
You can change your personal limits at any time from your account settings.
If you reduce your limit, the change will take effect immediately. If you increase it, however, you will have to wait 72 hours before the change takes effect. Examples:
- You change your monthly limit from €300 per month to €250 per month. The limit change takes effect as soon as you click “Confirm”.
- You change your monthly limit of €300 to €350 on 12/04/2023 at 16:30. Your new monthly limit of €350 will be active at 16:30 on 15/04/2023.
Default limit
As of 20 October 2022, Belgian regulations require a default deposit limit of €200 per week. If you wish, you can ask to deactivate this default limit from your account settings. Your request will then be forwarded to the Belgian Gaming Commission, which will give you a (positive or negative) response within 72 working hours.
Unfortunately, we cannot help you if the request is denied. However, if you think your request has been denied by mistake, you can contact the National Bank of Belgium by email or by phone to ask why it was denied:
